Carausius, Romano-British Emperor, 286-293. Antoninianus (Bronze, 21 mm, 3.44 g, 6 h), uncertain mint (Londinium?), circa 287-290. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG Radiate and draped bust of Carausius to right. Rev. SALVS AVG Salus standing front, head to left, feeding serpent, rising from altar, out of patera with her right hand and holding long scepter in her left. Cohen 310. RIC 984. Webb 1105. Beautiful brown patina. Slightly rough and with minor weakness and an edge crack, otherwise, about extremely fine.
